This is Rebekah Millet’s debut novel. The personality of the main female character, Julia Monroe, jumped off the page from the very beginning. She has this humor about her that is so relatable. And her alternative to cursing is hilarious. I got a very authentic feeling when reading this novel. I really enjoyed all of the secondary characters as much as I did the main characters. This book was just such a great read. Even though this book is over 300 pages I did not feel as though any of the story could have been left out. I am really looking forward to any future novels by this author.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher. The opinions in this review are my own.
