Book Review of Wooing Cadie McCaffrey by Bethany Turner

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book in order to give an unbiased honest review.

Wooing Cadie McCaffrey by Bethany Turner was a refreshing Christian romance novel. I was completely able to relate to the female main character, Cadie McCaffrey. The things that she struggled with as a female as well as a Christian were things that I think a lot of young Christian women struggle with. I also really liked the creative chapter names that helped tell the story. I definitely want to go back and read her first novel, The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck. For anyone that wants to read a book that is different than other Christian romance novels, then this is a good book for you.

Book Review of Living Lies by Natalie Walters

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of the book in order to write an honest review of this book.

Living Lies by Natalie Walters is a well written novel with a complex plot. For readers who are drawn into a good mystery with a touch of romance woven in, this novel will not leave you disappointed. At times, I found myself reflecting back in order to connect the pieces. Some parts of the book seem to be disconnected; however, as you continue to read and the “lies” unfold, it will make perfect sense.  I am definitely going add this author to my list of authors I like to read.

Thoughts on Keep Showing Up by Karen Ehman

I recently started reading the book Keep Showing Up: How to Stay Crazy in Love When Your Love Drives You Crazy by Karen Ehman.  I am currently on page 176.  However, I thought I would write some of my thoughts for the book so far.  I started reading it because I am participating in the Proverbs 31 Online Bible Study based on this book.  It is a refreshing book on marriage.  Karen Ehman not only talks about what you can do to work on your marriage, but she also talks about her own marriage in order to provide examples.  I have found that this book can not only be applied to my relationship to my husband but also to other relationships in my life.  I love how she gives activities that you can do in order to “keep showing up” in marriage.  I would definitely recommend this book!
