Lost and Found by Suzanne Woods Fisher is centered mostly around the Amish. David, a bishop in the Amish church, is faced with many decisions such as whether or not to relocate his congregation due to issues in the community; this leads to other problems. Micah has several of his own issues to work through. Like Micah, Trudy is very interested in bird watching. (There are many fascinating facts from Trudy’s bird log included throughout the book.) She is also interested in Micah, but he gets caught up in the past and dealing with his own issues. Even though the story focuses on the Amish, some of the issues they face are similar to issues we are called on to deal with in society today. It is a very interesting read.
