Review of “Her Loyal Companion” by Heidi Main

I really like books by Heidi Main. She has a way of bringing her characters to life just like she did in this book. There were a lot of really good enlightenments in this plot. One thing I thought was a really good truth is that you should not isolate yourself from others. Also this book shows just how important good communication is to a relationship. I would definitely recommend this book.

Review of “Witness Escape” by Sami A. Abrams

I really enjoy books by Sami A. Abrams. She does a great job of bringing the suspense from the very beginning and this book is no exception. I am glad that the author chose to use a name similar to Tabitha for her alias because otherwise I think that I would be a lot more confused. I really loved all the characters in the novel. And trying to puzzle out who was behind everything made the book so good. I definitely did not figure this one all out. I would definitely recommend this book.

Review of “Hidden Secrets Between Them” by Mindy Obenhaus

I’m a big fan of books by Mindy Obenhaus. This book is the fifth book in the Hope Crossing series. These books do not need to be read it order to enjoy them. Set in Hope Crossing, Texas, the novel is about Kirsten Reynolds, her twin boys, and Brady James. This book includes the trope of a guy not knowing he is a father. I thought this story brought out all emotions. It had some great lessons woven throughout the plot including living life to the fullest. I would definitely recommend this book.

Review of “Coffee Break” by Lori Hayes

This is a brand new author for me and I was excited to read it because she is a North Carolina author. I also love coffee so that drew me into wanting to read this book as well. However, this is one of those books that make me wish they had a rating system like the movies because it had a little more sexual descriptions in the book than I would have liked. I usually only read Christian fiction because of that but I would give other authors more of a chance if I had an easy way to tell that they are closed door romances. Other than the spice in the book that was not appealing to me, the rest of the book was good and the spice to me added nothing to the plot.
