Review of “Healing the Rescuer’s Heart” by Ciara Knight

I have read one other book by this author and loved it. This novel revolves around Logan Brock, Virginia Chapman and her son, Tyler. It also has several really good secondary characters. Two of those secondary characters being Ace Gatlin and Jolene Pearl. Another thing in this book that I really love are the dogs specifically Bear, the dog of Ace. There are many lessons that the reader could learn from in this plot. Several of those lessons come from the interactions between Logan and Tyler. This story was well-written and had so much heart. I found myself wanting to jump in the books several times to help the characters through different things. I highly recommend this book.

Review of “Deadly Rodeo Threat” by Sami A. Abrams

This is the fifth book I have read by this author. It is the second book in the Stone Creek Ranch series. You do not have to read the first book in the series to read and enjoy this one. The main characters are Logan Russell and Isabelle Sinclair. They have an important person to them in common, Lisa Russell. She is the twin sister of Logan and the best friend of Isabelle. This novel was really well written. It has all of the elements of a good suspense who done it plot. It will keep you guessing from the very beginning to the very end and leaving you wanting more. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel.

Review of “Deadly Currents” by Elizabeth Goddard

I have read several books by this author and she is one of my go-to suspense authors. This novel is the third book in her Hidden Bay series. You do not have to have read the other two in order to enjoy this one. While it takes place in the same town as the other two and has some of the same characters, it can be read as a standalone. This story not only has the suspense and romance but it has a lot of mystery to it. I really enjoyed the historical maritime element to it especially because it included folklore that dealt with ghost ships. I was captivated from the beginning to the end. I had a hard time putting the book down. It is a must read in my book.

Review of “The Police Chief’s Instant Family” by Mindy Obenhaus

I have read several books by this author and she is a go-to author for me. In the beginning of this book, I really felt bad for Daniel because he was not aware of the reasons behind why Emily never came back from Washington. I also found myself really upset with Emily for not trying to work with Daniel in regard to the twins. However, I was rooting for them to come back together the whole time. This book drew me in so well I felt that I was right in the middle of it all. I found myself wanting to cry for Ava and Amelia especially when they were hoping that their parents were at the door because they did not understand they were not coming back. You will definitely need a box of tissues. Ava and Amelia made this book one of my favorites. Though they were going through a hard time, they had some really adorable moments and were both so good at bringing the wisdom to the adults as a lot of children can be. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Review of “The Pastor’s Easter Prayer” by Tina Radcliffe

This is the second book I have read this author. The first one I read by her was a love inspired suspense whereas this one is a romance. One of my favorite things in this novel are the quotes that Hannah puts on the church bulletin board that the author includes in the story. They are really good pieces of advice that ring true even for me. Some of my favorite parts of the book are the ones with Pastor Rob and the sons of his church secretary. You can tell that he gets as much out of the interactions as they do. Another part of the book that I loved involved the birthday of the pastor but I am not going to spoil it by mentioning more in my review. This novel will grab your attention from the beginning and will leave you wanting more.
