This was my very first book by this author so I wasn’t sure what to except. I will say that this book kind of reminds me of James L. Rubart because it seems to have a supernatural element to it. This supernatural element to me is never fully explained in regards to its purpose to the overall story. Also, the author goes back and forth between past and present. When he does this, I don’t always feel like it’s completely obvious right at first which you are reading about. However given all of that I think I would still read more books by this author or at least one more before I decide that I just am not into his books.
