This is the second book I have read by this author. This novel brings two unlikely characters together to go on a journey of discovery that neither were expecting. As you’re learning about these two characters, Eric Larson and Eunice Parker, you start to feel as though you are right there with them. This author does a great job of pulling on your heartstrings, empathy, and compassion for people. A life lesson that can be learned from this book has to do with what really matters in life versus what should not matter as much. Overall, I think anyone would enjoy this book and I would absolutely recommend it.
