I really enjoy books by Amanda Cox which is one reason I wanted to read this novel. Also, I was excited that it is mostly set in North Carolina. This novel has a mystery to it that drew me into the plot early on. I could not really pick a favorite character because I liked them all. Amanda Cox did such a great job of bringing out the personalities of each of the characters. This novel will have you feeling all the emotions and I would definitely recommend a box of tissues while reading it. I definitely recommend this book to anyone.
