Review of “The Farmer’s Marriage Bargain” by Heidi Main

I have read several books by this author. She is on my list of authors that I will read even without reading what the books are about. This is a marriage of convenience plot, but the reason is unique. I do not think I have read a marriage of convenience novel where the reason was for insurance purposes. I also thought it interesting the reasons that both characters had for not wanting to get married for love in the future so it made the marriage of convenience not as big of a deal for them. I thought the three year old triplets were adorable and added a lot of great parts to this novel. Overall, this book was a well-written romance that I would one hundred percent recommend.

Review of “Wyoming Ranch Sabotage” by Kellie VanHorn

I have read several books by this author and I have enjoyed them all. This novel was no exception. I really enjoyed this one as well. The main characters in this book are Sadie Madsen and Jesse Taylor. At the beginning of the novel, you find out that Jesse is Sadie’s ex-fiancée. Throughout the beginning, you are told why they split up which helps to understand their current feelings towards each other. I thought the author did a great job of tying everything together to where I was able to figure out part of who was the villain before being told. This novel was a well written suspense that did not have one boring part in it. I would definitely recommend it.

Review of “Austen Inspired” by Alana Highbury

This is the first novel I have read by this author. It is listed as a clean and wholesome romance on Amazon. I would personally not list it has wholesome. As for clean, it is for the most part though there are a few exceptions to that. There is a little bit of cursing. I do feel it meets the closed-door definition of no detailed intimate scenes. The main character, Viviana Cantwell, in this novel is a little quirky and the main male character, Dr. Gregory Fitzgerald is a well-written arrogant snobbish man. I felt like the characters definitely drank too much which did not really add to the plot. Overall this was not the type of book I like to read.
