This is the second book by Janine Rosche. It is a contemporary split-time novel. As an accountant, the Ponzi scheme is part of what drew me into the book. This book explores so many sides of the humanity in such a real and genuine way that it pulls at the heart strings. It is interesting to see how stories of two of the main characters intertwine. And I also loved the interactions between Jade and Bridger. I will say parts of this novel will have you reaching for a box of tissues though so be ready. It is not your typical romance novel and there is no real suspense but it grasps your attention until the end of the book. It is a good second chance at life and forgiveness novel. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a honest story.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher. The opinions in this review are my own.
