I had high expectations for this book because it is a Christmas book by Melody Carlson. I was really excited to read it. I was not disappointed at all. This is a great heart warming novel in which I find myself enjoying the characters even the ones that you know would aggravate you in real life because they bring dimension to the storyline. It also has some mystery to the story adding to the already great plot. The only thing that I wish was that the book was a full novel instead of just a novella.
