Review of “Sense and Suitability” by Pepper Basham

I am not a big regency fan but because this was written by Pepper Basham I really wanted to read it. The main characters, Emmeline and Simon, had some really interesting interactions throughout the book. Their banter back and forth made for some of the best parts of the novel. I also thoroughly enjoyed the antics of Simon’s sisters, Lottie and Fia. Though it took me a little longer to really get into this story, once I did get more grabbed by it, I had a hard time wanting to put it down. I found so much love and grace in this novel. I highly recommend it.

Review of “Her Pretend Holiday Beau” by Susanne Dietz

I have read several books by this author and I have loved them all so I have her on my go-to author list. I am also a big fan of Christmas books. This book has so many different family dynamics. It also includes a live nativity which I love reading about. It takes place on a family farm which I love. It made me want to go to one. Another event in the book I really wanted to attend was the event they had for the employees of the farm. The food sounded so good that it made me hungry and the fire pit sounded cozy on a cold night. And the story had the cutest sounding mini horse in it. I loved this book so much and definitely recommend it.
