Review of “Unsolved Amish Abduction” by Mary Alford

This is the third book but the first of her love inspired books I have read. This novel has all the elements of a great mystery. It is a cold case involving the main female character as well as her sister. I found myself drawn into this book not only because of the mystery and suspense but also because of the characters themselves. I thought they were captivating. This novel had a lot of twists and turns. I had a hard time putting it down. If you’re looking for a great suspense, then you will really enjoy this book.

I received a complimentary copy from the author. The opinions in this review are my own.

Review of “The Stories We Carry” by Robin W. Pearson

This is the first book I have read by this author. This novel is what I would call general fiction which is not my normal genre. I normally read romance or romantic suspense, but I was intrigued by the book blurb and also loved the fact that this book is set in North Carolina. It took me a little bit to get into this book but I found myself slowly being drawn into the characters as well as their lives. I was especially drawn into the interactions between Glory and Adelle. They are the two main characters in this novel. Overall, I thought this novel showed a lot of different sides to people and brought an interesting dynamic of life to the plot.
