I really enjoy books by this author. This novel is based around an artist named Fiona Halverson and FBI Special Agent Bryce Springs. Fiona unfortunately has been involved in a crime that Bryce is investigating. However, she has absolutely no idea of her involvement. They meet under less ideal circumstances which makes their relationship intriguing. Both characters are well-written. There were not many great secondary characters in this novel but the main characters were so good that I did not mind. I did find myself wanting a little bit more of what happened with Dwight who gets introduced towards the end of the novel. Overall, this novel had the right mixture of suspense and romance. I definitely recommend it.
