I have read several books by this author and really enjoyed them. That was one thing that made me want to read this book. The other thing that made me want to read this book was the book blurb. It sounded so interesting. This novel revolves around Elise Warren and Deputy Reid Carver. It is a psychological thriller for sure. There is no romance involved. This book was so intriguing that I read it in two days. I had a hard time putting it down. It was very mysterious and reminded me of a shorter Jaime Jo Wright novel. I was able to correctly guess the relationship between the bad guy and the deceased father of the main female character. However, that did not take away from my enjoyment of the book. There were a few places toward the end of the book where paragraphs were repeated. Overall, I would recommend this novel.
